SOME KIND WORDS
There’s nothing more reassuring – and satisfying – than customer feedback, here are a few kind words from parents we’ve helped.
Sue’s knowledge base in the world of SEN coupled with her calm disposition has helped us immensely during our EHCP journey.
She navigated us through some very difficult times and was on hand for unexpected telephone calls when we received curve balls from our local authority.
On reflection, I think one of her strengths – which was invaluable to us – was her ability to see an advantageous position in something which initially seemed so hopeless.
She encouraged us to detach ourselves emotionally and see the facts, then together we worked to overcome the obstacles.
Working with Sue has made our journey much easier and I felt the support she offered was very personalised. Like myself, Sue has a young family so she has a very strong feeling of what impact the EHCP process can have on family life.
We felt fully supported throughout the process and this, as well as Sue’s knowledge, gave us strength and vigour to carry on when things got challenging.
With Sue’s help we were able to work with the local authority to achieve the best possible outcome.
Thanks a million Sue!
Sue was an absolute gem and godsend to us. We loved how she looked at things from a holistic perspective – a way I wouldn’t have ever thought of. We would have really struggled without Sue’s help and she made our journey much more logical and tolerable. Thank you so much xxx
The prospect of applying for an EHCP was incredibly daunting. Sue came highly recommended to me and from our initial consultation I knew I was in good hands. Sue’s knowledge of the SEN system and its related law is unprecedented. She dealt with all of my paperwork with incredibly low fees and her efficiency was second to none.
Tribunal was incredibly worrying for us as a family, yet Sue took complete control over the situation and guided us throughout the process.
I can say, with complete integrity, that if it hadn’t have been for Sue and her expertise, we wouldn’t be where we are today.
She gave my little boy the opportunity to be educated in the setting that he so desperately needed and as a family, we will be eternally grateful.
Sue has helped my daughter and I through a very difficult and challenging time trying to have identified and access to the support my daughter so desperately needs. Without Sue’s extensive knowledge and experience in SEND law, together with her determination to help young people access the support they require to achieve their potential goes above and beyond. I know we would have struggled to get anywhere with both my daughter’s school and the Local Authority but with Sue’s expertise we are finally on the right path. Sue listened to my daughter and I at all times and included my daughter in the process and acted on her behalf when appropriate, seeking consent before any decisions were made. Sue always responds everything quickly and is methodical in her approach. Thank you so much for all you’ve done!
Sue you are a mind of information! Whether this is legal, locating appropriate schools, managing reviews, the types of interventions available, EHCP, tribunal-the list goes on and is extensive!
You were at my side every step of the way and my child is now receiving the appropriate support and provision. We could never have got to this position without your support and guidance and we owe you such gratitude for giving our child what he needs and giving us all hope for the future. We can not thank you enough.
It is really hard to put into words the amazing job that Sue did for my family and my son Lewis. When I felt like I had no choice but to admit defeat and accept that the Local Authority were never going to give Lewis the help and support he so desperately needed I was introduced to Sue. This lady went above and beyond to help me fight for Lewis, she gave me the confidence to carry on and to stand up to the Local Authority, to not back down and accept the pitiful excuses for help that were being offered by them. Sue was there every step of the way to fight for the EHCP and then the right school for my son to be put in and no words can describe how ecstatic we were to be given the right to send Lewis to the school we had fought so hard to get him in to. Meeting Sue and receiving help from her has been a real turning point in my son’s life, I will be forever in debt to her for the support she provided for us and I am reminded how lucky I am everyday when I see the positive impact this has made on my son’s life.
Sue at SEND Support is so helpful with her knowledge of the SEND law and her ability to ensure that we as parents understood what was going on and what rights our child had that were being ignored.
A total lifesaver when we thought that our child was never going to get the help he needed and when we were unable to afford an expensive legal firm.
Although obviously she can’t take all of the stress and anxiety away she help hugely by dealing with the relevant professionals on our behalf and ensuring we were always up to date with the situation.
